On behalf of the members of St John the Evangelist Church, Hindley Green, please could you pass on our thanks to the children and staff who attended this year's Experience Easter sessions. Once again, the children from Hindley Green and St John's were an absolute delight. Their behaviour was impeccable and they demonstrated a deep level of interest in the Easter story. It is testament to each school that the children already had a good general knowledge of the crucifixion and resurrection. It was quite clear that they were keen to find out even more and they listened intently to those who told the each part of the story. They also asked some fascinating and probing questions. We sincerely hope that the children enjoyed their visit to St John's as much as we enjoyed having them. Many thanks. Best wishes.
Dear all head teachers and all lead teachers involved in this term's Let's Sing projects, Thank you SO much for taking your school and pupils on the 'Let's Sing!' journey once again and for participating so positively. There were three excellent concerts last week, some outstanding individual and collective performances, but above all it was wonderful to feel I had so much support from you all from the outset. The children in every school I worked in were a delight to teach. Best wishes,
I have loved my time at our school the teachers have been very supportive and I've learned a lot. S.A.T.S are coming up but I'm ready thanks to Mrs Hunter, Mrs Elsdon, Mrs Farrimond and all of our other teachers and pupils. I feel like we're a big family and I don't want to leave.
